Apprenticeship Opportunity

Bryland Fire have an immediate opportunity for a Fire Systems Apprentice. No previous experience is necessary, as this will combine employment at entry level with a work based training package. A full driving licence is essential as site visits will be required around the UK. A great opportunity for an individual to learn on the job, as well as  gain an industry-recognised qualification with one of the leading fire detection and alarm system manufacturers. A fantastic opening to kick start a career within the fire alarm industry!

 

Warehouse & Driving Operative

We are looking for warehouse & driving operatives for our Fire extinguisher department which will be both an office & field based job.

 

Responsibilities & Duties include:

 

  • Co-ordinating & preparing stock orders for each month.
  • Carrying out regularly stock takes as required by management.
  • Disposing and quarantining stock in accordance with health and safety policy.
  • Prepare fire extinguishers to include refurbishment, refilling & decommissioning of ex-stock for correct disposal.
  • Assist in carrying out scheduled maintenance visits, commissioning and small works installation of Fire Extinguishers & Signs.
  • Have a professional manner at all times.
  • Assisting where required in onsite working for Extinguisher department, raising any concerns to line manager.
  • Taking delivery of goods and supplies
  • Delivering & collecting stock with use of company vehicles.
  • Ensure neat and tidy appearance at all times along with a professional manner.
  • Maintain clean vehicles at all times. Do not smoke in any company vehicles or premises.
  • Assist the company to help build good customer relations by dealing with customer queries.

 

Experienced Fire & Gas Systems Maintenance Engineers

We are looking for Experienced Fire Systems Maintenance Engineers with both Addressable and Conventional systems experience to cover both maintenance, fault finding and small works.

Experience of the above will be a distinct advantage.

Systems Co-ordinator

We are looking for Contract Co-ordinator for our Fire Systems department which will be an office based job.

 

Responsibilities & Duties include:

 

  • Co-ordinating/scheduling & planning all PPMs due for each month – working a month in advance at all times.
  • Liaising via colleagues/engineers/subcontractor/client & management with a professional manner at all times.
  • Processing dates within timescales for all small works ordered & liaising with the team to ensure client is advised accordingly.
  • Accepting all callouts & fielding to relevant engineer within the timescale given, raising any concerns to line manager.
  • Process engineer paperwork accordingly on the in house system, ensuring all invoiced requirements are passed to the administrator.
  • Completing any small quotes required and send to client.
  • Answering of the phones in a professional manner and fielded to colleagues with clear messages if required.
  • Working closely with designated clients to ensure there contract is run smoothly and efficiently.

 

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may vary from time to time. You are required to carry out the request of management at all times.
