The staff at Bryland got in the mood, spreading some Christmas cheer throughout the office. Christmas jumpers…..Holly, Rudolph, and a massive dose of ‘Ho! ho! ho!’ from our office to yours! Season’s Greetings……
We were honoured to participate as a fire protection expert at a recent 3M hosted seminar. This video clip is one of a series that debates the current challenges facing the fire protection industry. You can sign up for access to the exclusive series https://lnkd.in/eeCuE_5 or get in touch to understand which fire suppression system would be most suited to your business.
Thank you to Catherine Grainger at 3M, and industry colleagues at Hemming Fire and Industrial Fire Journal for sharing their knowledge. Together we can help clients become better informed, and ensure they use the most appropriate fire protection systems to help safeguard their people and assets.
Well done team Bryland and a massive thank you to everyone that helped us raise over £5,000 as part of our Charity Evening & The Pretty Muddy Run in support of Cancer Research UK. There are so many ‘thank yous’ including Hoar Cross Hall, CEF, West Bromwich Albion FC, Securcity, Platinum Fire, Eric Pann, MSAS, ASAP Fire Systems and many more.
Also the very kind and generous donations via our page – https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/bryland-fire-1
It’s still live if you have any pennies to spare! Well done ladies. Fantastic achievement!
Remember these Pretty Muddy images from 2017, well the Bryland Ladies are at it again! Saturday 29th September, Sandwell Valley Country Park is the setting for the 5km muddy obstacle course! Flinging themselves over A-frames and crawling through mud pits in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. Please feel free to donate
Data Centre Transformation Manchester is taking its title literally and the focus this year is on each of the three strands of our title: DATA, CENTRE and TRANSFORMATION.
This expanded and innovative conference programme recognises that data centres do not exist in splendid isolation, but are the foundation of today’s dynamic, digital world. Agility, mobility, scalability, reliability and accessibility are the key drivers for the enterprise as it seeks to ensure the ultimate customer experience. Data centres have a vital role to play in ensuring that the applications and support organisations can connect to their customers seamlessly – wherever and whenever they are being accessed. DCT Manchester will focus on the constantly changing demands being made on the data centre in this new, digital age, concentrating on how the data centre is evolving to meet these challenges.
Five Workshops on Data, Centres and Transformation are chaired by industry specialists supported by a panel of experts to promote interactive information exchange between the panel and delegates, who also earn CPD points. Workshops are complemented by Keynote presentations from Neal Foster of Equinix, John Laban of the Open Compute Project Foundation and Rudi Nizinkiewicz of Roke Manor Research – formerly at GCHQ. Did you know….70% of businesses with no fire protection won’t re-open post fire? Just one fact mentioned at a recent 3M sponsored ‘roundtable’ discussion in London. This meeting brought together expert representatives and we were honoured to be invited as a recognised reputable leader in the industry. Topics involved the latest in fire suppression systems including 3M’s clean agent Novec 1230 which is stored in liquid form, and turns to gas when activated to rapidly cool fires. If your fire suppression system would benefit from a review, it needn’t necessarily require a complete replacement.
The below article is well worth a read if you are interested in the protection of your business, people and assets. Feel free to get in touch to find out how we can help and complete a no obligation fire protection review.
